With 33 years of expertise in different aspects related to the Biotechnology area, a PhD and Master's degree in Biotechnology from the USP-IPT-Butantan Postgraduate Program, and a degree in Industrial Pharmacy from the Ribeirão Preto School of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of São Paulo (FCFRP-USP), she founded GetBio Consulting 7 years ago, where she provides technical-scientific, technical-regulatory and strategic consultancy in the Biotechnology area. Before founding GetBio, she worked in the pharmaceutical industry for 11 years, holding leadership positions in the area of Biotechnology External R&D, as well as carrying out other activities such as technical-scientific and technical-regulatory evaluation of products and projects for the development of biosimilar and innovative medicines, aiming at establishing co-development partnerships or at licensing these products, technology transfer management for the production of biological medicines, as well as search, evaluation, and selection of investment opportunities, among other activities with multidisciplinary teams. Prior to her work in the private sector, she worked for 15 years as an independent researcher at the São Paulo State Institute for Technological Research (IPT), in projects focused on biotechnological processes using microorganisms and mammalian cells.
